Mikel Niso is a Spanish actor from Vitoria-Gasteiz, in the Basque Country. Drawn to performing from childhood, he began formal acting training at 15, studying under Cristina Alcázar and Francisco Boira, taking an acting-and-clown workshop with the Timbre 4 school, and going on to train at the TAE theatre school.
His breakout came when he was cast as Luke Howland in Boulevard (2026), the film adaptation of Flor M. Salvador's best-selling Wattpad novel, directed by Sonia Méndez and written by Javier Ruescas. Playing the brooding male lead opposite Eve Ryan's Hasley Weigel, Niso became one of the year's most searched-for new faces when the film was released in April 2026.
