According to Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, and Deadline, animation powerhouse GKids has locked down distribution rights to Studio Ghibli's complete 23-film catalog across the U.K. and Ireland — and the rollout is *chef's kiss*. The deal covers theatrical releases, home video, TV, and digital, meaning Ghibli fans in those territories are about to get the full feast.
First up? Hayao Miyazaki's beloved 'Kiki's Delivery Service' hits Imax screens on August 21 in a massive re-release that'll make that adorable witch's adventure feel bigger than ever. And that's just the opening act! The library also includes Oscar winner 'Spirited Away,' plus absolute classics like 'Howl's Moving Castle,' 'Princess Mononoke,' 'My Neighbor Totoro,' 'Ponyo,' 'The Wind Rises,' and 'Castle in the Sky.'
