SIREN HEAD IS COMING TO SCREENS — AND IT'S CREEPY
Warner Bros. just won a bonkers bidding war for the viral horror sensation that's terrifying Gen Z. Here's what we know.

Move over, Backrooms — Hollywood's latest internet obsession is about to get the blockbuster treatment! Warner Bros. Pictures has nabbed the rights to Siren Head, the viral horror creation from artist Trevor Henderson, after winning a five-way bidding war. Translation: studios were FIGHTING for this one.
The flick will be directed by Brian Duffield, with Zach Cregger (fresh off "Weapons") co-writing the script from an original concept. For the uninitiated: Siren Head is a mysterious, siren-headed predator lurking in the depths of internet urban legend folklore — the kind of creepy that's made Gen Z absolutely obsessed.
Warner Bros. is clearly banking on that Gen Z hunger for internet-born scares. The studio's betting big that what went viral in the meme halls of social media can translate to a full theatrical experience. With Duffield directing and Cregger's twisted mind behind the script, this could be the next cult-horror phenomenon. The Backrooms proved the formula works — now it's Siren Head's turn to scare audiences in the dark.
