SIREN HEAD IS COMING TO SCREENS — AND HOLLYWOOD WENT BONKERS FOR IT
Warner Bros. just won a FIVE-WAY bidding war for the creepy internet monster that's been haunting Gen Z — and the creative dream team behind it is *chef's kiss*.
Remember Siren Head? That absolutely TERRIFYING creature that went viral on the internet and gave everyone nightmares? Well, it's officially getting the big-screen treatment, and Hollywood studios were apparently ready to throw down SERIOUS cash for it. According to The Hollywood Reporter and Deadline, Warner Bros. Pictures snagged the feature package after a five-way bidding war — because apparently this internet sensation is THE hottest property in town right now.
Here's where it gets EXCITING: Brian Duffield ("Scream" reboot) is stepping into the director's chair, and he's working from a script he penned alongside Zach Cregger (the comedy-genius creator behind "Whitest Kids 'N' Play" and producer of *Jackass* films). Both are also producing the project, so this isn't just some studio cash-grab — these are serious filmmakers who GET horror.
For those not in the loop: Siren Head is the brainchild of artist Trevor Henderson, whose creepy creature designs have become the stuff of internet legend. The character's got that haunting siren-like head that shoots *actual sirens*, and it's basically pure nightmare fuel wrapped in a seven-foot-tall package. Gen Z has been OBSESSED, and now the rest of us get to experience the terror in glorious high definition.
No release date yet, but mark our words — this one's gonna SCREAM.
