SHARK THRILLER SWIMS TO COLOMBIA FOR SEQUEL

The makers of 'The Black Demon' are diving into a follow-up at an insane mountain altitude — and they're keeping it in the same creative waters.

Talk about loyalty! The producers behind shark blockbuster "The Black Demon" are already cooking up a sequel called "The Black Demon: Atlantis" — and they're heading straight back to Colombia to make it happen. According to Variety, Mucho Mas Media (led by producer Javier Chapa) had such a killer time shooting the original flick in the country that they decided to go all-in on the next chapter there too.

Here's the wild part: they're setting up shop 8,600 feet above sea level in Colombia to film this underwater creature feature. It's not the first time Chapa and his team have loved working in the country — they've already shot three other movies there with local production company Jaguar Bite, including the golf drama "The Long Game."

When you find a creative home that works, you don't mess with it! Colombia's become such a trusted spot for Mucho Mas Media that "The Black Demon: Atlantis" is the latest proof they're sticking with what's working. Shark fans, get ready to dive in!
