RESTRAINING ORDER DENIED! Taylor Frankie Paul's Ex Tate Takes Major L in Court

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star's ex-husband wanted a restraining order—but a judge just shut it down hard.

Tate Paul filed for a temporary restraining order against his ex-wife Taylor Frankie Paul, but the court wasn't having it. According to Us Weekly, a judge denied the request on July 1, stating that many of Tate's allegations were based on "inadmissible hearsay, without any corroborating evidence." Ouch!

Recall that Taylor made headlines back in 2022 when she publicly revealed that she and Tate had participated in "soft-swinging" during their marriage—a confession that eventually led to their divorce. But despite the split, the two have worked to keep things civil for the sake of their kids.

The court's ruling makes it clear the judge wasn't convinced by Tate's case. E! Online reports the denial came down hard, with the legal docs noting concerns he raised—like issues with the children's school performance—weren't solid enough to warrant legal intervention.

Taylor continues starring on *The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives*, and it looks like the drama between her and her ex won't be getting a legal stamp of approval anytime soon!
