Hot off a majorly successful debut, Netflix has greenlit Season 2 of the crime drama "Nemesis," Variety, The Hollywood Reporter and Deadline report. The show, which bowed on the streamer back in May, proved it's got serious staying power—spending five whole weeks in Netflix's global top 10 English language TV charts and even snagging the #1 spot in its second week. Not too shabby!
Created by Courtney A. Kemp and Tani Marole, "Nemesis" follows the cat-and-mouse battle between criminal mastermind Coltrane Wilder (Y'lan Noel) and the cop determined to take him down. It's the ultimate clash of unstoppable force meeting immovable object, and audiences are absolutely eating it up.
With a smash first season under its belt, Season 2 promises to crank up the tension even more. No word yet on when the new episodes will land, but Netflix clearly believes in this one—and so do the millions of viewers who made it a streaming hit!
