The emotional moment happened on set during director Anthony Rich's very first day on the job, according to Us Weekly. Rich spilled the tea on the Monday, June 29 episode of "The Official Big Bang Theory Podcast," recalling how Kaley's tears felt all too genuine for a scripted scene.
