Iwan Rheon—best known for his chilling turn as Ramsay Bolton on Game of Thrones—is heading to the big screen for director Celyn Jones' new feature, Mountain, according to Variety. He'll be joined by Peter Mullan (I Swear) and Rebecca Lucy Taylor (Teeth & Smiles) in what's shaping up to be a seriously talented ensemble.
Jones has built serious credentials behind the camera, having co-directed the Rebel Wilson comedy The Almond and the Seahorse and co-written prestige features like The Vanishing (starring Gerard Butler) and Set Fire to the Stars (featuring Elijah Wood). So you KNOW this Mountain adventure is in capable hands.
While details about the plot are still under wraps, this trio of powerhouse actors suggests Jones is cooking up something with real dramatic meat on its bones. Mountain is moving forward with a cast that could totally hold its own against the biggest releases of the year!
