Talk about a blast from the past! Maren Morris and ex-husband Ryan Hurd just hit the studio together to dust off an unreleased duet called "We Can't Be Friends" — a hookup anthem the pair originally recorded way back in 2016, according to Us Weekly.
Morris, 36, is absolutely loving the cosmic joke of it all. "What a hilarious song for us to be revisiting," she spilled. "'This is why we can't be friends,' and it's, like, this hookup song." Leave it to Maren to find the humor in reuniting with an ex over a track literally about why exes can't hang!
The country queen shared the update on her relationship with Hurd — proof that these two are on good terms post-split. Sometimes the best collaborations come from a little history and a lot of laughs!
