DEL TORO, HURD & GORE JOIN ACADEMY MUSEUM BOARD!
Three entertainment power players are now steering the ship at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures—and one Oscar winner is on a serious roll.

Guillermo del Toro, Gale Anne Hurd and John Gore have officially landed seats on the Academy Museum's Board of Trustees, Variety and The Hollywood Reporter report. The trio will help guide the museum's long-term financial health and governance—a major honor for three of the industry's biggest names.
Del Toro, the three-time Oscar-winning filmmaker behind *Pan's Labyrinth* and *The Shape of Water*, is riding high: he was also just elected to the board of governors of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences itself earlier this month. Talk about a power move!
Meanwhile, Hurd brings decades of blockbuster-making muscle to the board—the legendary producer has shepherded everything from *The Terminator* to *Aliens* and *The Walking Dead*. And Gore, Broadway's mega-producer, rounds out the powerhouse trio, adding major theatrical firepower to the museum's leadership.
The Academy Museum continues to build its dream team!
