Daveigh Chase, the voice behind Lilo in Disney's 2002 hit Lilo & Stitch, has died at age 35. According to the Los Angeles County medical examiner, Chase passed away on June 16 from acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS), with other significant conditions also listed as contributing factors. The manner of death is listed as natural.
Chase brought warmth and humor to the quirky Lilo in the beloved animated film, which became a Disney favorite for generations of fans. Her voice work helped define one of the studio's most iconic characters during a standout moment in early-2000s animation.
